About Me
I'm a passionate science communicator and researcher dedicated to sharing verified and peer-reviewed scientific information. I graduated from UCSB with a degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Professional Writing focusing on Science Communication/Literacy. I was an active campus leader with my most notable positions as a Communications Intern for UCSB Sustainability and as the 2022-2023 Co-President of the A.S. Black Women's Health Collaborative.
Currently, I help facilitate the next generation of doctors at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, as the medical student coordinator for the Department of Surgery. I am delighted to announce that I will be beginning my online interdisciplinary program at Berkeley Public Health and continuing my geo-spatial post fire research for the Santa Monica Canyon Alliance. In my free time I enjoy reading Instagram posts from @artifaxing and @unbiasedscipod and constructing my Substack.
